London to Paris
In 2014 I cycled from London to Paris raising money (£3,950) for my chosen charity the Multiple Sclerosis Society. I made a lot of friends along the way and helped to raise money and awareness of this disease. Never before had I set myself such a goal as this challenge included losing weight (2 ½ stone) and getting fit (early rises down the gym and cycling further each week up and down hill). My father was diagnosed in his late twenties with MS and lived to the age of 70 dying short of his 71st birthday which was an achievement in itself but so much more research needs to be done if we are to make MS history.
Londam

In September 2015 I took up the challenge again of cycling this time from London to Amsterdam. Four grueling days cycling from England through France and Belgium and into Holland ending up at Amsterdam. I was as ever determined as ever to raise more funds and more awareness of Multiple Sclerosis.
I cannot express to you enough the joy you feel when you see that finishing line knowing you achieved your goal. It took effort and you had aches and pains but the joy you feel completely engulfs you and nothing else matters!
